Sun Power Diesel Becomes A Commercial Marine Engine Repower Dealer for Yanmar Of the Americas in Florida
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – October 30th, 2018 – On June 13th 2018, Sun Power Diesel became the commercial marine engine repower dealer in the state of Florida for Yanmar America’s Commercial Marine Division. Primarily known for their pleasure boat engines in the U.S. market , the world renowned Yanmar’s commercial product line features heavy duty engines designed for the rigors and practical demands of commercial markets. Through this partnership, customers will have regional access to some of the most dependable , simply designed , and economical marine diesel engines in the market. Regarding Sun Power Diesels appointment as commented by Mr. Terry Wallace , Division Manager for Yanmar America Commercial Marine, “Yanmar is looking to add local market experts to our distribution network” .
Yanmar’s extensive commercial marine engine product line include models ranging from the 2 GMY 2 cylinder engine rated 12 MHP @ 3200 RPM through the 12 AYM-WGT twelve cylinder diesel engine rated 1822 MHP @1940 RPM with a 40.76 liter displacement . For many of Sun Power Diesels international customers where TIER II emissions compliance is allowed , there are mechanically fueled engine models that get back to old school simplicity . As with all engines sales conducted by Sun Power Diesel, the specific vessel application , duty cycle , engine room provisions for all systems , as well as reviewing the running gear , are part of presale qualifications. Culminating with startup and sea trials conducted either by Sun Power technicians or selectively contracted services , all work and final approvals for each installation are closely monitored to satisfy factory installation and performance requirements .
